Chaloner’s Cigar House

Chaloner’s Cigar House is an extension of Chaloner & Co., one of Michigan’s oldest operating stores. Our passion is to revitalize downtown and offer a distinctive, welcoming space for the community and cigar aficionados alike.

Our Humidors

  • First Floor: A 300 sq. ft. humidor located inside our retail store, featuring a curated selection of cigars.
  • Second Floor: Our exclusive humidor with premium, hard-to-find cigars.

Food & Lounge Etiquette

  • Feel free to bring in food from one of our many local restaurants or purchase from us.
  • Please refrain from moving furniture—our staff is happy to assist with seating arrangements.
  • Free WiFi is available for your convenience.
  • To maintain our experience, we kindly ask that all cigars smoked on-site be purchased in-house.

Smoking Policy

  • The third-floor Atrium is non-smoking, except Friday & Saturday from 6 PM – 12 AM.
  • Per our Cigar Bar Exemption License, no other tobacco products—including cigarettes, pipe tobacco, vapes, or cannabis—may be consumed on-site.

Additional Notes

  • All guests must be 21+ to enter.
  • Groups of six or more will have an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill.
Chaloner & Co.

Our historic dime store and walk-in humidor are open to individuals of all ages. Guests who purchase cigars and wish to smoke them at our establishment must enjoy them in our second or third-floor lounge.

Any alcoholic beverage permitted at Chaloner & Co. must be in a DARA cup. No exceptions.
